Something few people realize is that stress may cause the body to produce an abundance of Cortisol and other hormones, which in turn can ultimately cause skin problems. What actually happens is that Cortisol and hormones produce more oil and oily skin becomes more prone to acne and other skins problems such as eczema, rosacea and psoriasis to name a few.  Many skin disorders start through an overabundance of stress, which means it’s important to learn how to manage stress so that the skin stays healthy and problem free.

Because there is a powerful connection between the mind and the skin, our emotions may cause our skin to react to the stress in a negative way.  Yet, it’s clear that stress is a normal part of life, so it’s up to us to find ways to handle the stress so that it doesn’t impact negatively on the skin.  As an example, the skin can become more sensitive when we are stressed and as a result, we might experience a multitude of skin issues.  We also might notice other changes to our skin such as eye bags, puffiness, dry flaky skin, redness or wrinkles.

If you notice that you are having problems with your skin, you might consider calming the skin through various stress management techniques.  One of the most important elements for reducing stress is by taking care of your skin.  What that means, is that no matter how tired you might feel at the end of the day, taking the time to care for your skin by using good skin care products is very important.  Besides using good skin care products, other ways of alleviating stress is to perform yoga or meditation, exercising and making sure you get enough sleep each night.  You might also take time out for yourself and experience a luxurious and fabulous facial.

In our next article, we’ll discuss one of the most exciting, ancient and beneficial treatments that will keep your skin glowing and healthy forever.  If you are ready to learn about the products that can relieve and manage stress, visit www.aminaaromas.com and learn more about how to improve your skin immediately.
